Privacy Policy

Beacon Health Coach™ is fitness and wellness software from Nexus Beacon LLC, Texas, USA.

WE DO NOT SELL YOUR PERSONAL INFORMATION

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information for money or other valuable consideration. That includes your email, training logs, photos, files, health metrics, and anything you type in the product. We do not sell sensitive personal data. We do not share your personal information with third parties for their advertising. We do not use your data for cross-context behavioral advertising. That is how this product works.

What this is

Beacon Health Coach is fitness and wellness coaching software. It is not medical advice, not a medical device, and not a medical record. Coaches are not physicians. We are not a HIPAA covered entity. Files you upload, including lab PDFs, are files you provided. They do not make this a medical service.

BETA SOFTWARE — NOT MEDICAL ADVICE

Nexus Beacon LLC and its coaches (Sunny Sparks, Coach Karen, Major Tom, Coach Voss, Sergeant Rex, and Titan Kane) are not physicians, dietitians, or licensed health-care providers. Nothing in this product is a diagnosis, treatment, prescription, or care plan. If you think you are having a medical emergency, call 911. If you have a medical condition, are pregnant, or take prescription drugs, talk to your own clinician before changing exercise or diet.

Who this is for

Accounts are for people 18 or older. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. If you are a parent or guardian and believe a minor created an account, email privacy@beaconhealthcoach.com and we will delete it.

What we collect

Only what we need to run the product for you:

  • Account: email, password, optional display name, age confirmation, and the coach you pick.
  • Profile you give us: sex or the word you write, questionnaire answers, goals, check-ins, nutrition notes, body metrics.
  • Training and health data you choose to connect or upload: workouts and samples from apps you connect; photos, screenshots, and lab PDFs.
  • Product use: which pages you open, terms you accept (timestamp and version), and, if you tap a Shop link, which partner and item you clicked — not the partner’s order records. We do not have those.
  • Messages: coach notes we send you and replies you send back, so we can help.

We do not ask for government ID. Social login is not offered in this beta.

How we use it

We use this information to:

  • Create and secure your account
  • Generate and send coaching plans and notes
  • Show you your own data
  • Operate, fix, and improve the product
  • Honor affiliate links you choose to click
  • Comply with law and protect the service

We do not use your training or health data to advertise other companies’ products to you.

Who we share it with

Service providers. We use vendors to host the product, sign you in, store files, send email, count page views, and run the AI that reads your uploads and chats and helps write coaching notes. They may process data only to provide those services to us, under contract. We do not let them use your data for their own marketing.

Connected apps. Connections are opt-in. Strava is read-only; we do not post activity back to Strava. If you disconnect, we stop new access. Data we already copied stays in your account until you delete it or we delete it as described under Retention.

Shop partners. If you click through to a shop partner (Thorne is first), you leave our site and buy from them. We are not the merchant of record. We may earn a commission on that click. A click-through is not a sale of your personal information. We do not send your training data, photos, or health metrics to shop partners.

Legal. We may disclose information if required by law, to protect users or the company, or as part of a merger or sale of the business, with notice where the law requires it.

Other people who use this product cannot read your account.

Analytics

We use a privacy-focused tool for page views. It does not use advertising cookies. We do not send it your email, name, or training data.

Site analytics

We use Plausible Analytics to count visits and see which pages are used, so we can make Beacon better. Plausible is a privacy-focused analytics service based in the EU.

What Plausible receives when you load a page:

  • the page address you visited
  • the website that sent you here (referrer), if any
  • your browser, operating system, and device type
  • your approximate country, region, and city, based on your IP address

Plausible does not use cookies and does not store anything on your device. It does not store your IP address. It uses your IP address only briefly to make a daily, randomly salted code so a visit is counted once, and that code is deleted every 24 hours. Plausible cannot identify you, and we do not send it your name, email, health data, or anything you type into Beacon.

We do not use Plausible on pages that show your health information after you sign in.

We do not use advertising pixels, session recording, or sell your data.

If we add other analytics or cookies later, we will update this policy and ask for your OK first where the law requires it.

Retention

We keep account and coaching data while your account is open and as needed to run the beta. This is unfinished software. Data may be reset while we change the product. Keep copies of anything you cannot replace.

Uploads you drop for extraction (photos, screenshots, PDFs) are temporary. We hold the file only so you can review what we pulled out. When you confirm, we keep only the fields you approved in your account locker and delete the raw file from our live systems. If you discard the review, or it times out without confirm, we do not write those fields and we delete the raw file. Abandoned uploads that never get confirmed are deleted from live systems within 30 days of upload. Backups and records we must keep for law or security may last a short time after that. This product is not a file storage service.

When you close your account, or when we end the beta, we delete associated data we reasonably can, including locker fields, subject to the same short backup window.

Your choices

  • Export a copy of your data from Settings
  • Disconnect a provider
  • Delete your data or close the account in the product, or email privacy@beaconhealthcoach.com
  • Turn off coach email in Settings

Security

We limit who can access account data and keep login and connection credentials on our systems. No security method is perfectly secure.

Changes

We may update this policy. The current version is 2026-10-09.1. If we make a material change, we will ask you to accept the new version or give you notice in the product before it applies to you.
